Segra and White Label Communications
Segra is coordinating the POTS TDM service retirement process in partnership with White Label Communications (WLC), who will manage the communications, logistics, and scheduling of site surveys.

Effective Termination Date
The Plain Old Telephone Services (POTS) line(s) you have in service will be disconnected no later than September 30, 2026. You must take the appropriate steps to upgrade services to Emulated Plain Old Telephone Service (e-POTS) as soon as possible. This conversion requires coordination of our resources and your staff to ensure critical systems are not compromised.

Services Affected
POTS lines include alarm lines, blue-phones, faxes, elevator phones, and critical safety systems. Segra’s Emulated Plain Old Telephone Service (e-POTS) solution is technologically superior to traditional POTS and ensures your critical systems remain up and operational via multiple internet connections and a 24-hour battery back-up.

Your Next Steps
Segra and WLC require a person(s) on site to be available to accommodate a technician who will be dispatched to survey the location, receive on-going communications, and the return of said technician to complete the upgrade process.
